Oya Demirli: Co-Founder & CEO

Oya Demirli is a leader and entrepreneur with exceptional team building, mentoring, training, financial management, and digital marketing skills, with extensive experience in project management, software development, contract management, market research, marketing, administration, social media, creative imaging, and UI/UX design. Oya has BFA and MFA degrees from York University in Toronto Canada, and has completed the Wharton School Executive MBA Program at University of Pennsylvania.

Don Carli: Co-Founder & President

Don Carli has been a management consultant and senior advisor to advertisers, publishers and Fortune 1000 brands including Adobe, Agfa, Dupont, Hewlett Packard, IBM, Kodak, Reed Business Information, Time Incorporated, The Economist and Xerox. Don is also Senior Research Fellow with nonprofit Institute for Sustainable Communication (ISC) where he directs The Sustainable Advertising Partnership and other programs addressing advertising, marketing, corporate responsibility, sustainability, and enterprise communication. Don is Sustainability Editor of Aktuel Grafisk Information Magazine in Sweden. Don is a sought after speaker at international business conferences who has been extensively quoted on issues related to sustainability, advertising, media and marketing in The New York Times, Fortune Magazine, AdAge Magazine and on NPR radio’s “Morning Edition.”

Michael Brian Bass, Ph.D.: Senior Market Research Analyst

Dr. Bass has over 15 years of experience in consumer and business-to-business market research and has held senior market research positions with the Pepsi-Cola Company, American Cyanamid, and Warner Lambert, conducting consumer and sensory research to support product optimization, package innovation, claims testing, promotional program evaluation, test market development, as well as brand image and sales tracking of competitive brands. Dr. Bass has been a key contributor to ASTM committee E-18 task force on Advertising Claims Substantiation to develop industry standard guidelines for claims testing methodology. Dr. Bass received a B.S. degree in psychology from Brooklyn College and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in psychology from Rutgers University.

Richard Czerniawski: Senior Positioning & Branding Associate

Mr. Czerniawski has over 20 years of experience in marketing and advertising. He is former Director of Marketing for all U.S. soft drink brands for the Coca-Cola Company and has held key marketing positions with Procter & Gamble, Johnson & Johnson, and Richardson Vicks. Mr. Czerniawski has contributed to the success of Brands such as Coca-Cola Classic, Diet Coke, Folger's coffee, Band-Aid Brand adhesive bandages and Reach toothbrushes. Mr. Czerniawski is currently the Managing Director of the Business Development Network, a marketing consulting firm that conducts strategic advertising programs for the marketing managers of companies such as Johnson & Johnson, PepsiCo, Amway Corporation and Bristol-Meyers Squib. Mr. Czerniawski is a former Naval Aviator and Officer who served as an Instructor Pilot. He has an BS in Education, and an MBA. Mr. Czerniawski has served as a guest lecturer for the MBA programs at DePaul University, Lake Forest College, and Thunderbird International School of Management.

William E. Hilson: Principal Information Design Analyst

William E. Hilson is an information designer with extensive expertise in digital design, imaging and graphic production for print and interactive media. Mr. Hilson is a member of the faculty of Pratt Institute's Graduate Communication Design and Computer Graphics departments; he is chairman of the Technology in the Arts Committee for the National Arts Club, and co-chair of the AIGA NY Technology in Design Special Interest Group.

Jack Hughes, Esq

Jack Hughes has 25 years of experience as a senior corporate attorney and business executive.  Jack has been a partner in a New York City law firm where he specialized in advising clients on corporate finance and business transactions, and government regulation and compliance matters, served as general counsel at a public company offering business-to-business e-commerce services, founded a successful management consulting firm, and served as managing director of a financial services consulting practice specializing in improving securities trading efficiencies.  Jack is currently of-counsel at Lyder & Scalise LLP of Scarsdale, NY where Jack offers business advice and legal representation to entrepreneurs, business owners and individuals. Jack is a graduate of Queens College of the City University of New York, and has a law degree from Fordham Law School.
